About the site
PCGames9505 is a personal project aimed at building a cohesive body of knowledge around PC games and PC hardware released between 1995 and 2005. Much of the information on this site can be found elsewhere on the Internet, but PCGames9505 is one of the few resources that compiles all this information in a simple, accessible format.
This site is intended to be a living document, built as much for my own reference as others'. As such, it will probably be a perpetual work in progress. Expect to find inactive links, skeleton pages, and other half-finished works. As I have time, I hope to fill in the blanks and continue adding new content.

About the author
I've always been interested in computers and games. That interest led me to a career in software engineering, which I enjoy for its emphasis on creativity and problem solving. I divide my free time between a few hobbies, one of which is building old computers and playing old games. I'm never quite sure if I build the computers to play the games, or if I play the games to get some use out of the computers. PCGames9505 reflects the dual nature of this hobby, with its mix of hardware- and software-related content.
This site is the result of countless hours of gaming, tinkering, experimentation, and research. By documenting my discoveries, I hope to make life a little easier for like-minded enthusiasts. I apologize if I lapse into programmer-ese in places; while I try to keep my writing clear and to the point, some amount of technical jargon is unavoidable. If some terms are unfamiliar, please check the Glossary.
Thank you for visiting PCGames9505. I hope the site is useful and informative.
